So honored to have the opportunity to be a speaker and partner with LA County’s DCFS-Resource Family Support & Permanency Division (RFSPD), for their appreciation event for all the wonderful foster mothers in Los Angeles County.
We served our famous RED PALM OIL GOURMET SAUCE. And I also had the pleasure to speak about the importance of healthy eating. There are few lifestyles changes that we can all make to yield a healthier & happier life.
S/O to all these wonderful women that blessed us with their presence but most importantly by being in the lives of these amazing children. As I put it today, you are truly doing Gods work. I hope all counties across Los Angeles and other parts of the country can replicate what La county DCFS did today. It was truly a wonderful experience.

We are excited & humbled that it’s been 5 years since Juka’s Organic Co., was established. Starting from our red palm oil as the number seller in many markets and now over 12 items added to our catalog, we are thrilled to share the story of how it’s all done.
Yes many years have gone into it, many great days and also trying times. There have been moments when people would ask if it’s worth the trouble on a bad day. But my answer always is “YES”. And I sincerely hope and pray it will always be yes. I do it for the women, for the villages but also for the continent. It may seem a little too ambitious that what we are doing can change the direction of the whole content, but I truly believe if we all do what we can in our own little ways, we can change the world.
Not to mention, the messages we received from customers about how the red palm oil is helping their respiratory problems or their blood work has came out much better after taking the Baobab powder for a while is remarkable. Sometimes these emails come when I might be having a stressful day but reading them gives me courage and inspires me and everyone else to keep pushing through.
We will share more small clips of our recent visit and our newest items at Juka’s Organic Co. :
To everyone that has a dream, believe in the power of doing. Start but continue to do because this is what will set you apart from everyone that has a dream . *

Well, Good Morning Laa Land, & Good Day To The Motherland
It feels great to be back home in Los Angeles but Africa was truly wonderful to me during my last several weeks of visit. From the cities throughout the villages, the memories will stay with me forever. It seems every time I visit, it assures me that the mission we started goes beyond the farmers we work with and certainly surpasses myself and team; it’s about the continent, its people, its women, its youths and it’s future. It’s a lot to carry and do alone but through sustainable, fair trade and partnerships with the locals, we can slowly make that difference in the lives of its people. Thank you to all those that elevate Juka’s Organic Co. In the U.S, Canada, Europe and to every customer or friend that helping to make this possible. Now that the camera has stopped rolling, we will download the captured moments to share with you slowly.
Start small and think big because anything is possible.

Excited for another interview, this time with Naluda Magazine for their March edition. We are always delighted to share our company story as it only strengthens our missions for Africa. Read snippets below:
“How is Juka’s Red Palm Oil helping those communities and women?
Our company has given these women tremendous business opportunities. Most of our partners didn’t have any work or had very minimal incomes prior to our partnership. A lot of them always sold red palm oil in their small community markets in the villages, this can sometimes take months for them to sell the oil locally. And sometimes they don’t harvest that much fruits and it goes to waste because they are often afraid that there will be excess supply in the market with no returns. …Once we started working with these women as partners, they no longer have to sit in the market months at a time to try to sell their products without a guarantee of purchase. Red palm oil is their main source of income in these villages. Each generation of women produce their red palm and pass it on to the next. Our company works with these women every season and this makes life much easier for them. It is truly humbling every time the season comes around and I’m able to visit to see our women partners. They are always happy and filled with joy about what we are doing together, their praises and songs of gratitude, melts my heart. This is what Africa needs, partners not handouts. They have so much to offer to the world they just need the opportunity to do it with dignity.”

“Juka Organics is known for it’s Red Palm Oil products. Do you mind telling us about that and exactly what you offer?
Our company is best known for our unrefined Red Palm Oil due to the sustainable practices that preserve the wildlife in Africa… It is very crucial for consumers to know where they source their Red Palm Oil. Red Palm is an indigenous fruit tree to Africa, therefore, every three to four months the fruits are safely and ethically harvested from the palm trees that have naturally been there for centuries. each generation of women ethically produce their palm fruit oil without endangering wildlife. Red palm fruit is the main source of income for these women in the villages of Africa and their families. I am grateful to be in the bridge between the markets and to offer these natural products that originate from Africa to help alleviate many existing health concerns in the United States such as high cholesterol, heart disease, obesity, and more. We are indeed honored to be apart of such an incredible social and global enterprise.”https://www.sheenmagazine.com/jukas-organic-co-founder-juka-ceesay-discusses-her-transition-to-the-united-states-from-gambia-and-what-you-should-know-about-red-palm-oil/
